- A multinational automotive component manufacturer is searching for a talented mechanical engineer to join their team in Japan as the Autonomous Vehicle System Engineer. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work on autonomous vehicle projects with both international and domestic teams.

Responsibilities:
* Perform application engineering for autonomous driving projects for commercial vehicles
* Provide customer support in design works for ongoing product development
* Understand the Japan autonomous driving roadmap and transfer it to the company's autonomous driving development team overseas
* Support the sales team in the engineering area to acquire new air management business
* Support the quality assurance team in the engineering area to provide better solutions in claim handling
* Evaluate autonomous driving system products and vehicle control systems in the braking, foundation brake and electronic integration areas in cooperation with test vehicles and internal testers
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
* Solid experience in engineering, preferably automotive
* Experience with vehicle control system and/or mechanical product design and development
* Experience participating in engineering projects as a team member and an ability to control project timelines
* Ability to communicate effectively with APAC teams via email and phone as well as relevant teams in Japan
