This position will be responsible for the coordination of the development engineering efforts for assigned programs and ensuring that the system performance meets necessary technical requirements and regulations.

A global automotive supplier of plastic parts is now recruiting for a Product Application Engineer.Responsibilities:
* Coordinate CAD design, Design reviews, product DFMEA and GD&T reviews
* Define DVP&R plan, coordinate the testing and lead product changes to meet the technical requirements
* Maintain open issues list with items related to Product. Identify technical risks, define and implements corrective action plans
* Release drawings and data to the customer that meets the individual customer's standards
* Release drawings and math data to suppliers for the manufacture of tooling, prototypes, components and assembly aids associated with the program
* Integrates Process constraints; communicates Product requirements and constraints to other Team members
* Manage the product file including 3D and 2D drawings, simulations, DFMEA, DFMA, DVP&R, BOM, engineering timeline including action plans for issue resolution and product validation, etc.
Requirements:
* Business level verbal and written proficiency in both English and Japanese
* Knowledge of ISO9001 & TS 16949 procedures
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline
* Experience either in CAD, Lab or design with automotive company
