An international software organization is seeking a Support Engineer Manager with experience working directly with Japanese customers.Responsibilities:
* Lead customer support strategies in Japan for the company's cloud suite
* Manage the workflow, schedules and workload for direct reports
* Provide coaching, career development planning and moral support to team members, on-boarding support to new comers
* Monitor and track customer satisfaction and resolve issues
* Support the development of new products with solutions management, development and customer support teams
* Provide support to the "on call" service team by participating in the customer support hotline for designated issues
Requirements:
* Knowledge in network, TCP/IP, DNS and database
* Knowledge and competency in Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, web servers, troubleshooting, Windows, UNIX and Linux-based operating systems
* Experience in working with Japanese customers
* 3+ years' experience in managing customer support teams in Japan
* Native level Japanese; business level proficiency in English
