- Reporting to the Senior Manager of Application Development, the talented applicant selected for this Application Development role at a petrochemical manufacturer will demonstrate substantial sales & marketing experience in the chemical industry and the skills necessary to effectively market applications based on the company's existing portfolio.

Exciting opportunity to join a global company as Application Development EngineerResponsibilities:
* Effectively market, specify, and translate known applications based on existing portfolio
* Help identify, develop, and commercialize new application for existing portfolio and grow with the customers
* Work collaboratively with the customers to solve problems
* Provide knowledge and data that will help reduce customers' risk while also speeding up their application development cycle
* Maintain strong relationships with OEMs and molders
Requirements:
* 5-15 years' sales/marketing experience in the chemical industry
* A bachelor's degree (chemistry/polymer science preferred)
* Native level Japanese; English proficiency also required
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
