A global insurance firm is seeking a Compliance Officer for Japan.Responsibilities:
* Review and implement group and regional compliance policies to align with local regulations
* Ensure internal policies, controls, and practices meet business and compliance standards
* Identify and assess key risks, supporting functional teams in developing mitigation plans
* Collaborate with legal teams to ensure adherence to local laws and regulatory requirements
* Manage compliance reporting to local and regional management teams
* Partner with operations and functional leaders to strengthen compliance across processes
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above
* More than 5 years of working experience in related role
* Knowledge in risk management, compliance and legal
* Understanding of appropriate methodologies of compliance monitoring
* Professional level Japanese; business level English is ideal
Preferred requirements:
* Experience in the insurance and assistance industry is an added advantage
