The IT Capacity and Vendor Demand Manager plans and manages IT and vendor resources to ensure efficient delivery and optimal utilization.・Collaboration: Work with IT teams to understand BAU activities and upcoming projects requiring internal and vendor engagement.
・Capacity Planning: Develop and maintain capacity plans with IT teams to ensure resource availability for BAU and strategic projects; identify constraints, assess delivery feasibility, and propose prioritization and measures to address key role shortages.
・Vendor Demand Management: Coordinate with IT teams to consolidate vendor demand; engage vendors to understand capacity, capability, and constraints; identify gaps and align necessary adjustments; provide input to contract and finance managers when major shifts impact cost or agreements.
・Process and Tools: Implement best practices and tools for effective capacity and demand management, including order management processes between the company and vendors.
・Stakeholder Management: Act as the central coordination point among IT teams, company leaders, and vendors to ensure shared visibility and timely resolution of capacity and demand issues.
・Reporting: Produce regular reports on IT capacity and vendor demand to support executive visibility and data-driven decision-making.
【Key Stakeholder Engagement】
・IT Managers / Program Managers: Align on BAU and project plans and address capacity impacts on project delivery.
・Vendor Managers: Ensure vendor demand management aligns with the overall vendor management framework.
・Financial / Contract Managers: Provide updates when vendor capacity or demand shifts significantly from contractual plans.
・IT Service Delivery Managers: Align workload expectations with SLAs and service stability requirements.
・Company Executives: Share capacity and demand insights and align on executive-level actions to resolve resource constraints.

・Proven experience in demand management, capacity planning, or resource management within an IT environment.
・Good data analytical skills
・Excellent communication skills.
・Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and with external vendors.
・Executive stakeholder management. Concise, consistent and timely communication and escalation
・Language: Fluent in Japanese. Business level English
