A global insurance company is seeking a Head of Finance.Responsibilities:
* Advise and partner strategically with the business unit president on financial performance
* Manage and coordinate all finance-related activities
* Align financial objectives with APAC finance leaders and global efforts
* Oversee all finance aspects, including accounting, tax, treasury, capital, and actuarial
* Set financial objectives and define performance metrics
* Develop financial storylines and deliver analytics for business decisions
* Offer guidance for ongoing and new business opportunities, including M&A
* Enhance profitability and financial performance
* Propose actions to optimise expenses
* Conduct financial planning and analysis of results and outlook
* Adjust strategies throughout the year to meet financial targets
* Track returns on business investments and new initiatives
* Ensure excellence in financial reporting and compliance
* Lead and develop the finance team
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above
* More than 5 years of professional experience
* Fluent level Japanese; proficient in written and spoken English
