A renowned financial services organisation is searching for a Java Developer.Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with key trading desks and quants to provide solutions that address traders' needs
* Work with the global key teams to develop and maintain server-side processes and APIs
* Play a key role in the strategic re-architecture and modernisation of the platform from design through to implementation and rollout
* Ensure understanding of the stages of the software development lifecycle, version control, unit testing and build tools
* Maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrate strong personal initiative in all tasks
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science
* Experience as a Java developer
* Knowledge of Java frameworks (Spring)
* Understanding of stages of the software development lifecycle, version control, unit testing and build tools (JUnit, Maven, Jenkins, Git)
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Experience developing tools for the front office is a plus
* Familiarity with financial products (preferably interest rate products) and market risk concepts is desirable
* Prior Python, C#/.Net, Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS experience is advantageous
* Proficient in English; Japanese is preferred
