An international insurance company is looking for a Head of Finance.Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement finance and claims strategies
* Produce sets of accounts, including statutory and consolidation accounts
* Liaise with external parties such as banks, auditors, and lawyers
* Monitor company expenses, cash flow, and budgets
* Manage claims processing and strengthen cash position
* Optimise financial processes and ensure compliance with Group requirements
* Develop and mentor the Finance and Claims team
* Adapt and implement Group policies for internal control
* Quantify and propose action plans to reduce major risks
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and Group requirements
* Collaborate with other functions to improve process controls
* Improve risk management and stakeholder involvement in controls
Requirements:
* More than 10 years of experience in accounting handling full sets of accounts
* More than 3 years of experience managing a finance team
* Proficient in MS Office Suite and accounting software
* Experience in auditing is preferred
* Prior experience in Microsoft Dynamics is ideal
* Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English
