A leading insurance company is looking for a Credit Analyst Associate Director for the Research Department.Responsibilities:
* Analyse credit fundamentals and valuation on Japanese corporate bond issuers
* Make investment recommendations on new issues and present to portfolio managers and traders
* Regularly monitor holdings and provide trade recommendations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above
* More than 5 years as a credit analyst on Japanese corporate bond issuers
* Knowledge of the Japanese public bond and credit market
* Analytical skills in credit fundamentals and relative values of Japanese corporate bond issuers
* Proficient in MS Office Suite and information vendor terminals (Bloomberg)
* Experience investing in credit products at investment management companies is ideal
* Background in other financial products such as structured finance, public equities, or foreign bonds is desired
* Understanding of Credit coverage exposure to sectors like basic material, utility, and consumer is a plus
* Native level Japanese; business written and verbal English (TOEIC 900+)
