The analyst will engage in due diligence for mid-to-late-stage private company investments, including desktop research, interviews with industry experts and corporate management, investment memo writing, and financial modeling. They will also monitor portfolio companies and participate in management and board meetings.
Our process focuses on:
• Assessing the quality of management, their alignment with shareholders, and treatment of various stakeholders.
• Evaluating the business’s ability to generate cash and the predictability of its earnings.
• Analyzing the company’s market position, its capacity to secure new business, and the potential threats from future competition.
• Investigating the long-term structural trends (megatrends) and the size of the potential market the company can address.

• Native Japanese speaker with business proficiency.
• Fluent in English, able to work in an English-speaking environment.
• Demonstrated passion for investing.
• 2 to 6 years of work experience.
