A global reinsurance organisation is looking for a Business Development Senior Manager.Responsibilities:
* Develop various areas including learning core product offerings and providing tailor-made reinsurance solutions
* Assist with the management of deal execution of large asset intensive reinsurance transactions
* Develop internal relationships with other stakeholders such as GFS Pricing, Investment Solutions and Treaty teams
* Assist in developing new reinsurance opportunities in close coordination with other client-facing teams
* Understand the reinsurance regulatory environment in Japan, including accounting and capital
* Develop relationships with other key players in the Japan insurance market
Requirements:
* More than 4 years of experience in actuarial, investment, corporate planning, or finance department in Life Insurance, reinsurance, consulting firms, or relevant industry
* Prior ESR, financial reporting or accounting experience
* Previous pricing experience of life insurance, health insurance, longevity, or annuity products
* Knowledge of life insurance, health insurance, and/or annuity products
* Understanding of ALM techniques, including derivatives, and capital markets approaches
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
* Possess valid actuarial qualifications (IAJ, SOA, etc.)
* Fluent level Japanese and English
