A global credit rating company is searching to fill a App Support position.Responsibilities:
* Respond to client escalations initially investigated by the L1 team via Salesforce and Jira
* investigate, troubleshoot, and provide resolutions in a timely manner
* Partner with the Products team for regular discussions and product reviews with key clients
* Use SQL queries, UI access and log tools for investigations
* Serve as both an escalation point and a subject-matter expert for assigned applications
* Provide quarterly training sessions to the global L1 team
* Assist in establishing, improving, documenting, and enforcing work processes
* Resolve incidents with Tech and Operations teams
* Enhance team knowledge, process and learn new tools and technologies
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in business, Finance, Economics or Computer Science.
* Practical experience in an application support role
* Hands on technical experience in utilising database tools, using SQL
* Prior experience in supporting multi-tier applications including Java, WebLogic, and Oracle
* Previous experience in Windows, (Unix, and Linux environments) and MS Office Suite
* Expertise in financial industry
* Experience in supporting web based financial applications (trade posting, reporting, and exception handling/troubleshooting) is ideal
* Familiarity with FIX/TOF protocols, TCP/IP, FTP, certificates, SMTP, AD, Proxy and MQ is a plus
* Knowledge of Cloud AWS/GCP, microservices model with Kubernetes/OpenShift, or traditional on-prem environments architecture is preferred
