A global reinsurance organisation is looking to fill a Head of Compliance position.Responsibilities:
* Ensure branch adherence to insurance business law and relevant regulations
* Execute annual compliance initiatives
* Revise and refresh compliance manuals and related policies routinely
* Deliver periodic compliance training sessions for staff
* Supervise branch compliance with insurance business laws
* Foster connections with FSA and industry associations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* More than 15 years as a compliance officer within a financial institution (Life Insurance company is ideal)
* Practical experience in leading the response to an FSA audit is preferred
* Prior experience in leading the response to a cyber incident is desired
* Experience in leading the response to a data leakage incident is an advantage
* Expertise in life insurance industry is a plus
* Possess a valid qualified Lawyer in any jurisdiction with international experience
* Fluent level verbal and written English and Japanese
