A major European automotive company is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer.Responsibilities:
* Oversee HSE standard compliance in suppliers
* Ensure manufacturing processes are aligned with design intent and followed supplier's specifications
* Maintain zero defects within external supply chain by partnering with suppliers to minimise risks
* Explore opportunities in supply chain for new and existing manufacturing processes
* Ensure compliance with applicable corporate legislative and technical policies and standards such as RRMS, SABRe and Export Control and Intellectual Property requirements
* Ensure various requirements are met such as safety, cost, delivery rate and lead time
* Work with PI MEs and ESC MEs to oversee component value stream to development an integrated view of manufacturing engineering activities
* Foster relationships with suppliers to deliver results in adherence to requirements and commitment
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering
* Recognised national or international engineering accreditation such as UK IEng or CEng
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes
* Understanding of manufacturing systems and relevant software tools
* Valid Japanese work permission
* Fluent level written and verbal Japanese
