- An industry leading automotive supplier is searching for an individual with 5 years' supply chain management experience to join its team as Supply Chain Manager. This role offers you the chance to showcase your leadership ability while ensuring quality service levels for customers and controlling all physical flows.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the supply chain team based on company principles
* Ensure supply chain interface between customers and suppliers
* Ensure the quality of customer deliveries and vendor delivery plans in terms of deadlines, quantities, and cost
* Control all physical flows (including freight) and information flows, both internally and externally
* Set and validate together with the plant manager the inventory target for the plant; meet target, keeping excess and obsolete stock at a minimum level
Requirements:
* An engineering background/education, plus CPIM/APICS certification
* 5 years' experience in supply chain management
* A skilled trainer; awareness of safety and environmental policies
* Familiarity with logistics, transportation, and warehousing
* Japanese and English proficiency
* Ability to work in a multicultural environment
