- A new Corporate Communications Director role has emerged at a Fortune 100 company. This position reports to the Asia Communications VP and effectively interacts with all levels of the organization to develop, refine, and implement a wide range of cross-discipline communications programs. The successful Communications Director will have strong (AP style) English writing skills and the ability to develop clear, concise messages in alignment with corporate messaging.

Responsibilities:
* Manage pan- internal, external, and marketing communications strategies and programming
* Provide country-specific and regional corporate media relations and product communications support
* Develop and execute long- and short-term communications plans in support of business strategy
* Work closely with HR leaders on communicating HR-related initiatives and programs to the national employee base
* Deploy communications guidelines and reinforce compliance across the organization
* Assist regional communicators and counterparts in other geographies with projects and assignments as needed
Requirements:
* Must have strong (AP style) English writing skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise messages that align closely with corporate messaging; spoken English also required
* Ability to think strategically and provide communications counsel, and assist in developing plans to drive results
* Must be able to identify issues and execute actions to eliminate or minimize their potential impact
* A bachelor's degree in a related field such as journalism or communications
* At least 5 years' demonstrated successful experience in corporate communications or an agency environment preferred
