- A global electrical/electronic manufacturing company is currently searching for a Financial Controller to join the team and oversee accounting and controlling tasks, build partnerships, and lead efforts to develop a highly effective team. To succeed in this professional role, you will have 15+ years in financial management and substantial experience in manufacturing and plant operations.

Responsibilities:
* Implement company policies and procedures, enabling a strong control environment with an appropriate monitoring framework and process
* Oversee all transactional activities comprising general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel and entertainment expenses, operational tax and treasury activities
* Drive synergy, leveraging regional FSS to improve effectiveness
* Forge close working relationships with various local and corporate functions and drive key initiatives
* Provide solutions to business challenges
* Lead or support ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
* 15+ years in financial management, with at least 5 years in a financial leadership role
* Significant experience in manufacturing accounting and plant operations
* Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrix environment
* Ability to drive initiatives in a holistic manner
* Effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, across various levels of the organization
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Japanese and English fluency
* Familiarity with US GAAP SOX, FCPA, or other similar internal control regulations
