- A leading semiconductor company is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join its team and take on a diverse range of tasks including working directly with customers, applying hands-on support, and demonstrating a strong understanding of S/W engineering practices. The successful candidate will possess 10 years' experience and a degree in computer science or a technical discipline.

Responsibilities:
* Work directly with customers on site to understand requirements, integrate deliverables, and support customer use cases
* Document and provide comprehensive customer use cases to HQ as part of testing processes
* Work with HQ, field service, tech support, and installations, addressing factory automation and S/W issues
* Apply hands-on support when required
* Communicate requests, requirements, and unresolved customer issues to HQ
* Support and/or execute S/W aspects of customer acceptance tests
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of S/W engineering practices and demonstrated proficiency in debugging and log analysis in a Windows environment
* Strong understanding of SEMI standards for factory automation and equipment and process control in the semiconductor industry
* Demonstrated proficiency in customer management, customer support, and issue tracking
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in S/W engineering or S/W support (including FA), preferably within the semiconductor industry
* Japanese fluency and must be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
* A BS degree in CS or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience in SW engineering
