The candidate who enters this role will be responsible for establishing strong business relationships, providing support for development activities, and leading sales. This position is available in Tokyo as well as the Chubu and Chugoku regions.

A successful automotive component manufacturing company is searching for an Account Manager.Responsibilities:
* Build relationships with key customers
* Liaise with customer commercial and technical groups for product proposals, feasibility studies, and program launches
* Support the internal advance and engineer process for the new product development informed by customer needs
* Oversee cost models and provide quote packages for new business
* Carry out sales forecasting
* Ad-hoc tasks as needed
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree with technical or commercial experience
* 5+ years of automotive sales or business development experience at a Tier-1 supplier
* Understanding of the work culture for a foreign company in Japan
* Understanding of the OEM new product launch process
* Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, and PowerPoint)
* English proficiency
