A global pharmaceutical company is hiring for an Accounting Manager to supervise the execution of general accounting and financial matters.Responsibilities:
* Execute the monthly financial reporting closing process and ensure financial statements are completed accurately, timely and in accordance with local/ US GAAPs and company accounting policies and guidelines
* Drive the timely resolution of open balance sheet reconciliations items
* Support external auditors with timely preparation and integrity of the statutory financial statements
* Support the Tax COE in their completion of Tax provisions and returns by providing timely financial information when required
* Support the preparation of legal entity projections and budgets
* Review and approve financial transactions such as invoices in SAP, credit and debit notes, check requests
* Perform treasury work including cash flow management
Requirements:
* 7+ years' experience working in a global and/or multi-divisional financial organization
* Experience of closing book, reporting financial data to corporate leadership
* Experience of using an integrated business software package and financial reporting modules such as SAP and Hyperion
* Expertise in GAAP for both US and Japan and local tax
* Business verbal and written proficiency in both Japanese and English
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, in addition to US/JP CPA or an equivalent certification
