A Manufacturing Manager position is now available at a leading global electronic components manufacturer.Responsibilities:
* Ensure operations are run in a safe manner in compliance with local regulations
* Ensure customer expectations on quality, delivery and new product introduction milestones are met
* Coordinate activities of all sections in manufacturing department and support functions within the plant to achieve overall efficiency and effectiveness
* Implement IATF 16949 standards and other this company's processes and operation tools
* Drive continuous improvement through application of lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies
* Develop and execute a personnel development and succession plan for key positions to ensure long term growth and integrity of the organization
Requirements:
* 10+ years' experience in manufacturing (preferably in automotive industry), with 2+ years in managerial capacity
* Experience in plant management preferred
* Skills in management of a manufacturing function
* In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing and 6 sigma methodologies and APQP
* Business level proficiency in both Japanese and English
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electronic, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
