A multinational manufacturing organization is recruiting for an Accounting Leader with team management experience.Responsibilities:
* Develop Japan accounting team and enhance functional excellence through implementing globally agreed functional strategy, training and best practices
* Maintain and promote the need for global consistency, continuous improvement and accountability
* Provide clear expectations and continuous coaching to local team leaders, helping them to find solutions to their challenges
* Supervise monthly closing processes and seeking continuous improvement in effectiveness and efficiency of related activities
* Handle monthly and annual close process including preparation of journal entries, monthly accruals, Prepaid and account reconciliations, including Tax Accounting, and performs monthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis
* Perform balance sheet accounts reconciliations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline
* Recognized accounting qualification such as CPA or equivalent preferred
* 12+ years' experience with MNCs; 6+ years' experience in an accounting leadership position
* Technical accounting knowledge including US GAAP and local GAAP
* Tax knowledge (CIT, VAT) and experience in dealing with transfer pricing issues
* General FX and customs knowledge for NHG
* ERP knowledge and experience (Oracle preferred)
* Business level written and verbal proficiency in English
