An international hospitality company is looking to hire a Junior Accountant.Responsibilities:
* Perform daily update and reconciliation on bank movement and arranging payments regularly
* Prepare and perform data input of accounting record to the ERP system
* Assist supervisor to provide accurate and timely financial and management reports to management
* Assist supervisor to prepare accurate accounting entries and monthly schedules by applying professional knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Monitor, evaluate, verify departmental expenses and reconcile with budget and accounting record
* Issue and prepare invoices
* Support for various tax filing preparation
Requirements:
* Post-graduate degree in Accounting or an equivalent discipline
* 3+ years' experience in accounting
* "Nissho Boki 2Kyu" (Certification in Bookkeeping 2nd Grade)
* Basic understanding of general accounting principles and International Accounting Standard, such as IFRS
* Business level verbal and written proficiency in both Japanese and English
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience in ERP applications
