A global luxury hotel chain is looking to hire a Director of Finance as the organization's strategic financial business leader.Responsibilities:
* Develops means to improve profit, including estimating cost and benefit, exploring new business opportunities, etc.
* Creates the annual operating budget for the property.
* Implements a system of appropriate controls to manage business risks.
* Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business plan which is aligned with the company's and brand's strategic direction.
* Oversees internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
* Conducts annual performance appraisals with direct reports according to standard operating procedures.
* Advises the GM and executive committee on existing and evolving operating/financial issues.
* Manages property working capital and cash flow in accordance with brand standard operating procedures and owner requirements.
* Reconciles balance sheet to ensure account balances are supported by appropriate documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
* 3+ years' experience in finance and accounting or related professional area
Basic computer skills
