A multinational telecommunications group is searching for a candidate for the position of the Software Sales staff.Responsibilities:
* Build and grow the company's software annuity subscription base
* Communicate the operational value of the company's software solutions to customers and drive engagements to successful deal closure
* Drive a creative software led approach whereby the company can employ such solutions to resolve customer business issues or take advantage of opportunities to save OPEX cost or reduce complexity within a customer's network
* Assist in the documentation and pricing of software technical solutions
* Establish and lead a robust software mechanism to measure and coordinate base load data on the customer to drive effective software strategies and decision making
* Provide software leadership across NTS portfolio and opportunities
* Mentor the technical staff
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience in telecommunications or data networking
* 8+ years' experience as a technical or software Leader in a major telecom organization or sold software as part of a larger integrator organisation
* Experience working within a service provider network environment preferred
* Knowledge of NMS platforms and MV solutions
* A good understanding of data/information architecture concepts and patterns
* Working knowledge of mainframe and distributed platforms; exposure to virtualization
