A multinational AI technology company is in search of a corporate Accountant with knowledge of both Japan GAAP and IFRS.Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain financial records in accordance with Japan GAAP and IFRS
* Lead regulatory filings such as annual/quarterly reports and IPO applications
* Ensure proper revenue recognition of the company's SaaS revenue model
* Handle consolidated financial statements and communicate with the accounting auditor
* Assist in the preparation of the monthly and annual closing processes of the group's entities in Japan
* Manage key balance sheet accounts, review reconciliations, and investigate variances
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting; Master's degree in Accounting, MBA, and/or CPA is a plus
* 4+ years' accounting/audit or relevant work experience in a publicly listed technology company
* Strong accounting knowledge of Japan GAAP, IFRS, and J-SOX
* Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems preferred
* Proficiency in both English and Japanese
