This role will be responsible for leading and managing the profitable growth of the company's product portfolio in Japan by establishing new account relationships and maintaining good partnerships with existing accounts.

A leading multinational food processing and production company is looking for a candidate for the role of the Account Manager.Responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise the existing business in Japan by contributing to the development of the strategic planning process for future growth of the portfolio
* Meet and exceed company goals for profitable revenue growth of the flavour products with assigned key strategic accounts in Japan
* Search for, develop and grow identified new business prospects for the whole company within the assigned markets
* Link the customers and the production units of company by providing both technical and commercial support to the customers
* Prepare regular forecasts and budgets based on the company time-limits, principles and formats
* Professionally represent company at meetings, exhibitions, seminars and other events
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Commerce, Business, Marketing or a related discipline preferred
* Additional degree in food technology is a plus
* Experience managing and expanding customer relationships and demonstrated success in development new business
* Business level verbal and written proficiency in English
* Familiarity and connections with major food & beverage manufacturers in Japan
* Work experience within a large multinational company preferred
