A global chemical firm is searching for a Technical Service Manager with extensive experience in R&D. The successful candidate will work to grow regional and global business by developing and managing R&D resources in Japan while also contributing cross-functionally.
仕事内容
A global chemical firm is searching for a Technical Service Manager with extensive experience in R&D.
Responsibilities:

* Plan and prioritize R&D resources to optimize technical support for customers
* Assess business cases received by regional R&D Team, and organize and/or support cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and improve the customer experience
* Fill technical communication gaps with other regions and functions to deliver and improve the customer experience
* Propose a budget aligned with overall strategy, and manage the budget to optimize the delivery of technical solutions

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Materials Science; advanced degree preferred
* 15+ years' experience in R&D and technical services for high-performance plastics
* Customer-facing experience as a technical representative
* Ability and willingness to travel in the APAC region is a plus
* Advanced proficiency in both English and Japanese
