A Hiroshima-based Senior Engineer Japan Electronics position is currently available at a global automotive components manufacturer.Responsibilities:
* Present and introduce the company's products and capabilities to customer
* Support engineering team for troubleshooting at customer sites
* Support local quality engineering team in development-related quality issues
* Support customer on-site during system tuning and vehicle validation phase
* Support engineering team for new business approach with customer
* Translate customer requirements into internal engineering electrical, functional, and performance requirements
* Assist with the development of customer-specific technical specification
* Assist with negotiating performance specifications with customers
* Propose and explain functional solutions and algorithms in cooperation with international development teams
* Conduct on-site training about product-specific innovation and platform topics
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Automation, Computer/Software, or Electronics/Electrical Engineering
* 3+ years' electronics design engineering experience
* 2+ years' experience working with vehicle OEMs
* Understanding of vehicle high power solution and architecture preferred
* Experience in an international company preferred
* English proficiency
