A multinational manufacturer of automotive components is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer.Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
* Review customer product designs to ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications
* Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments and scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems
* Coordinate the preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages
* Prepares and communicates program status to management
* Identify project staffing requirements and coordinate staffing with supporting organization managers
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical or Metallurgical
* 5+ years' experience in automotive or related industries in Japan
* CAD design skills, preferably at an advanced level
* Ability and willingness to travel overseas
* Advanced verbal and written Japanese proficiency; business level English preferred
