A multinational pharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant for their Tokyo office.Responsibilities:
* Prepare meaningful and consistent income, P&L, and balance sheet statements, as well as other accounting statements and reports as required
* Prepare reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
* Maintain a regular review of income and expenditure to ensure cash flow is adequate to meet future business needs
* Receive and process all incoming electronic, telephone, fax, and mail sales orders in a timely manner
* Receive and verify invoices and input approved invoice data into the system
* Ensure filing and documentation is up-to-date and compliant with standard processes and formats
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a professional qualification (e.g. CPA)
* 5+ years' accounting experience
* Experience in healthcare or a related industry is a plus
* Proficiency in Sage X3 ERP software is a plus
* Business level English proficiency is an advantage
