A global automobile company is searching for a new General Ledger and Tax Accountant.Responsibilities:
* Handle general tax activities including corporate income tax, consumption tax, withholding tax, property tax, etc.
* Handle international tax matters
* Cooperate with internal and external auditors and taxing authorities to manage the auditing process
* Prepare tax accruals, budgets, forecasts, and other necessary tax filing documentation on a regular basis
* Manage financial reports and general ledger data via the SAP and prepare reports to HQ
* Work with the accounting manager on various accounting projects
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting
* 5+ years work experience in a similar accounting position
* Detailed understanding of Japanese and US GAAP and IFRS
* Advanced Microsoft Excel and SAP proficiency is a plus
* Accounting experience at a tax firm is a plus
* Business level English
