A global renewable energy company is looking for a new Head of Finance.Responsibilities:
* Establish and improve systems for financial controls, budgets, accounting, and reporting in accordance with local and international accounting standards
* Review the work of internal accountants to ensure accuracy and timeliness in book keeping and reporting
* Manage tax filing, compliance and recovery activities
* Manage relationships with banks including debt levels, cash drawdowns, payments, debt, and compliance matters
* Provide financial budgets, analysis, and forecasts and produce explanations of deviations
* Assist the CEO in various accounting and finance activities as needed
Requirements:
* Bachelors degree with an accounting certification
* 5+ years of financial work experience with some experience in a multicultural setting
* Experience in financial support, analysis, systems and controls, and management
* Understanding of Japanese financial reporting standards
* High level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) as well as accounting and banking software
* Native level Japanese and business level English (written and spoken)
