A leading global furniture manufacturer and retailer is looking to hire a Retail and Training Manager with store management experience.Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement the company's training programs in cooperation with overseas headquarters
* Develop and translate training materials to meets the needs of the Japan market
* Develop and implement leadership level training
* Review retail KPIs and other relevant metrics and develop programs to address any issues
* Work with the Retail Director to develop and manage store and sales associate budgets
* Work with the Business Development Manager to assist in the opening of new stores
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher
* 3+ years' experience training retail store staff, preferably at a foreign lifestyle brand
* 3+ years' experience managing stores in store manager, area manager, or retail manager role
* Strong understanding of both retail and business
* Business level proficiency in both English and Japanese
