A leading European pharmaceutical group is searching for a new Financial Control and Compliance Lead.Responsibilities:
* Lead the compliance team in the implementation of compliance processes by setting objectives to support the financial compliance strategy and regularly report key metrics to track the achievement key performance indicators
* Maintain good communications with key customers
* Supervise tests of financial controls and track any deficiencies then address them with the cooperation of the global process owners
* Provide SOX 404 top down risk assessment sub certifications
* Maintain good relationships with auditors and analyse audit reports to ensure the timely resolution of agreed actions
* Ensure all compliance processes are clearly defined, fully documented, clearly communicated and carried out throughout the organization
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in economics or business administration
* 8+ years of FRA experience and compliance expertise
* High accounting ability with a good understanding of international finance reporting standards, internal control financial reporting, and the financial control manual
* Good understanding of enterprise resource planning
* Previous management experience
* Previous auditing experience is a plus
* Proficiency in Japanese and English
