A global telecommunications company has a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer to join its team.Responsibilities:
* Create, develop and own the technical relationship with the customer
* Technically qualify opportunities and determine fit for the products
* Perform sizing analysis, create associated product configurations and create accurate quotes
* Prepare for and deliver field demonstrations of products
* Organize, manage and execute on-site customer evaluations of our products
* Hands-on diagnostic and troubleshooting of telecom networks and/or contact centers
* Work with sales and marketing to develop answers to RFP requests
Requirements:
* 8+ years' of business consulting or systems engineering experience with carrier network operators or service providers
* Experience of major telecom switch providers
* Technical understanding and domain experience in VoIP, ISP, SS7, 2G, GPRS, 3G, LTE, VoLTE & IMS
* Experience in Business Analytic platforms and databases such as MicroStrategy, Vertica or Oracle is a plus
* Understanding C, C++, VxWorks, LINUX, RedHat, XM and scripting knowledge
* Native-level Japanese; good oral & written communication skills in English
