A wholesale food distributor has an open position for the FA Manager who will supervise a team of finance and accounting professionals.Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate and punctual closing and reporting in line with the company accounting policies
* Supervise, coach, counsel, set goals for and support the members of the company FA team
* Manage financial operations, tax returns and filings
* Represent Japan at international financial and/or accounting projects
* Assist internal customers from both productivity and internal control, viewpoints
* Ensure that the company's operations related to finance and accounting including sales posting, cash collection, customer credit control, supplier invoice matching and the likes are running properly
Requirements:
* 10+ years' experience in accounting and finance at multinational businesses
* 5+ years' experience as a finance or accounting manager
* Business level English
* Competency in Microsoft Office is a must, experience with SAP preferred
* Good knowledge and extensive experience in IFRS, JGAAP accounting, corporate and consumption tax and internal control
* Experience in team management is a plus
