A leading multinational financial services institution is currently hiring for a Trade Surveillance Compliance position.Responsibilities:
* Take initiative from a compliance perspective in build an effective surveillance program
* Develop a strong understanding of the company's control framework and suggest improvements to existing reports
* Work closely with global counterparts, IT, and/or vendors in developing new surveillance models
* Follow up on and document surveillance alerts
* Ensure surveillance issues are escalated to compliance and risk management as necessary
* Handle various regulatory inquiries
Requirements:
* 10+ years' relevant experience in the financial industry
* Working knowledge of the Japanese financial industry, products, and exchange/surveillance regulations
* Experience with Japanese banking compliance is a distinct advantage
* Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
* Bilingual fluency in English and Japanese
