A leading confectionary and consumer goods company is seeking a Category Manager with extensive experience in FMCG marketing.Responsibilities:
* Develop a winning strategy and plan for the assigned category based on a strong understanding of the products, customer insight, and the local category business
* Deliver the category strategy and plan through the team within agreed budget to achieve the aligned business target
* Supervise and coach direct reports to develop their functional and leadership competencies
* Assist in the creation of a regional and global brand/category strategy with regional/global marketing and cross-functional teams
* Support the Marketing Director to develop the marketing team's talent, pipeline, and organization
Requirements:
* 10+ years' FMCG marketing or equivalent experience with a strong track record of success
* Extensive experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams
* Ability to develop and motivate direct reports and other staff
* Advanced proficiency in both English and Japanese
