A multinational instrument manufacturer is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to lead service activities and drive business growth.Responsibilities:
* Achieve annual service targets and goals
* Plan and implement a territory development plan to increase service volume
* Leverage internal & external resources to ensure customers receive the appropriate level of short-term and long-term support
* Negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
* Support market research and provide updates on competitor activity and market trends to management
* Install, troubleshoot, repair, and provide training to customers on complex process control gauging equipment
* Ensure timely and efficient installations, service, and preventative maintenance
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering
* Experience in the industrial gauging industry and technical service experience with complex system equipment
* Technical knowledge of film production processes, on-line measurement & control, and integrated automation solutions
* Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis, often on short notice
* Strong verbal and written English proficiency
