A leading supplier in the automotive industry is looking to hire an Engineering Manager to lead customer projects and acquire new business.Responsibilities:
* Direct and motivate a team to achieve all key business goals and objectives
* Support any strategic approaches necessary to increase sales penetration of the company's products in Japan
* Participate in key industry events and functions
* Discuss technical requirements with customers and influence formulation of customer requirements
* Establish and build relationships with engineering decision makers and influencers at all levels
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with a background in mechanical engineering
* Proven ability to understand and sell highly technical mechatronic products to OEM customers
* Working knowledge of program management and advanced product quality planning (APQP)
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* Ability and willingness to travel both domestically (frequent) and internationally (when required)
* Advanced English proficiency
