A leading global automotive supplier is seeking an experienced Accountant to close accounting and tax books of the company's legal entities in Japan.Responsibilities:
* Collect and prepare necessary information for accounting book closing
* Post journal entries into the company's ERP system (SAP)
* Close accounting and tax books accurately in a timely manner
* Report financial statements and relevant information to both internal and external stakeholders
* Prepare CIT, VAT, property, and other local tax returns
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience of accounting book closing; experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
* Bookkeeping Level 3 (Nissho Boki) or similar accounting qualification
* Hands-on experience with CIT and VAT return preparation is a strong plus
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Native level Japanese; business level English (TOEIC 700+)
