A leading global financial services firm is looking for a skilled IT Developer to enhance and develop applications.Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day business requests and support on existing applications to front office trading desks
* Provide necessary training and tools to the support team as well as L2 & L3 application support
* Handle the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications including front-end UI application development
* Interact with the global development team and establish links with both end-users of the systems as well as other technical teams
* Ensure compliance to company development standards and software development life cycle
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
* 4+ years' experience developing software applications, including financial applications
* Extensive experience using programming languages like C# and Java
* Experience with VBA development
* Verbal and written fluency in English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus
