An opportunity has emerged for a talented professional to take the role of Senior Business Development Leader with a leader in specialty chemicals.Responsibilities:
* Lead the growth of the business in an assigned segment
* Collaborate with key functions to develop a strategic account plan
* Develop and maintain high level relationships with customers and key industry players
* Lead the Japan sales team and customer service/administration team functions
* Work together with commercial teams in other countries to implement the company development strategy for the Asia Pacific region
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Refining Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA or business education is a plus
* 10 years' commercial experience with a proven record of success; experience in the battery, chemical or automotive industry
* Battery material experience and technical sales experience in the battery market preferred
* Strong leadership and motivational skills
* Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
