- A global professional services firm is seeking an experienced accounting candidate with the knowledge of international tax/VAT issues to join their Finance Department in Tokyo in a Senior Accountant position. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the accounts process of a globally operating professional services firm.

【600万円～800万円】シニアアカウンタント＠法律事務所Responsibilities:
* Complete day-to-day and period-end general accounting activities precisely and effectively
* Ensure that all processes are performed in compliance with policies and procedures of the firm, locally, and globally
* Pay attention to report any potential business, financial risks, and opportunities for improvement in process effectiveness
* Process monthly journal entries for payroll, prepayments, accruals, intercompany recharges, perform period-end closing activities, and prepare period-end reports
* Perform variance analysis on actual results compared to budget/ forecast and prepare monthly analysis reports
Requirements:
* Experience in financial planning or budgeting is a plus
* Chartered Accountant, CPA, or Boki 1st grade qualification is strongly preferred
* Basic knowledge of IFRS and external reporting requirements is required
* Advanced proficiency in Excel, Oracle, Hyperion, and Financial or similar application is required
* Fluency in spoken and written English is required - must have a TOEIC score of 850 or higher
