募集背景: A multinational pharmaceutical company is searching for a Legal Associate with expert knowledge of intellectual property rights. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching third-party intellectual property and managing disputes that arise in regard to the company's Japanese business.

仕事内容: 【Negotiable based on experience】
Responsibilities:

* Identify and analyse patent risks and opportunities associated with the development of portfolio strategies and solutions in accordance with patent relevant laws and pharmaceutical regulations
* Assist global intellectual property functions in dealing with patent risk/opportunity evaluation, local patent litigations, and other related matters
* Manage and liaise with external law firms regarding patent disputes and litigation
* Provide advice on public announcements and promotional materials related to specific products or alliances
* Optimize patent strategy in accordance with group company policy

Requirements:

* 8+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* Fluency in both English and Japanese
* Ability to effectively communicate with and provide legal insight to stakeholders
* Excellent understanding of Japanese intellectual property rights
* Patent attorney certification is preferred but not essential depending on past experience with patents in the pharmaceutical industry
