- A Credit Analyst role at a wealth management company awaits the successful applicant. In addition to recommending risk mitigating factors, the Credit Analyst will evaluate the credit worthiness of Japanese financial institutions and prepare credit reviews. Prior relevant experience and knowledge of products (swaps, options) will serve you well in this role.

【1000万円～1500万円】Credit Analyst at global financial services firmResponsibilities:
* Assess exposure/risk profile of derivative transactions and recommend risk mitigating factors such as covenants, collateral, and other terms & conditions for derivative transactions
* Approve/reject derivative transactions
* Monitor exposure against limits, and take appropriate actions as needed
* Monitor covenants and other triggers under transaction agreements
* Monitor daily credit events and quarterly financial results of existing clients
Requirements:
* Relevant experience in credit risk management or counterparty portfolio management
* Credit analysis skills, plus the ability to read and analyse financial statements in Japanese (e.g., Yuka Shoken Hokokusho)
* Japanese language proficiency
* Business level spoken and written English; verbal fluency preferred but not required
* Experience at a major Japanese bank or foreign financial institute in Japan preferred
* A strong academic record plus evidence of commitment to continuing professional growth
* Intermediate proficiency in computer spreadsheet calculations
