A leading international semiconductor manufacturer is searching for a talented tax accountant.Responsibilities:
* Perform income tax accounting (US GAAP - ASC 70 and Japan GAAP)
* Prepare work papers needed to support income tax provision requirements, including the review of provisions by the auditor
* Partner with the tax planning team on transfer pricing related activities including review/preparation of transfer pricing adjustments
* Oversee, coordinate and review the income and non-income tax compliance outsourcing arrangement
* Monitor changes in Japanese tax rules and regulations; assess the impact to Japanese operations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent
* 5+ years' relevant tax experience in a multinational company and/or big 4 tax team experience
* Zeirishi or CAP certification preferred
* Strong knowledge of Japanese tax rules/regulations, including income tax, business enterprise tax (BET-income, BET-Capital, BET-VAT), inhabitant's tax, consumption tax, withholding tax and others
* Fluency in written and spoken English
