As the Platform Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will interface with customers and collaborate with internal teams to deliver vehicle platform programmes.

* Lead the platform engineering interface with customers
* Lead product application engineering across vehicle platforms, irrespective of model type or brand name from product launch stage
* Provide full engineering support to product launch teams in all operations involve in the launch of products for a vehicle platform and manufacturing development teams during subsequent manufacturing change programmes; authorize engineering changes
* Define and obtain agreement for the programme plan (targets, timing, resources, spend, etc.) to implement phase engineering activities and changes
* Manage and deliver vehicle platform programmes in accordance with customer APQP and process deliverables, activities, procedures and programme management sign off systems
* Support other activities as required
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or technical college education with a focus on mechanical or manufacturing engineering
* Vocational engineering experience with product development and design experience
* Extensive experience in the field of automotive engineering
* Knowledge of/experience with Japanese work environments
* Good knowledge of English and Japanese language
